Nida Abdullah’s presentation will discuss a participatory design driven project among an interdisciplinary research team, exploring opportunities and conditions for facilitating and emphasizing a shared understanding between team members. Additionally, the author will present a framework for capturing and coordinating team dialogue developed out of this investigation.
Grounded in the framework for dialogue, an exploration in interface design emphasizing how ad-hoc and situated decisions taken by team members can be captured and collected will be discussed, as well as an exploration in interface design in contextualizing those decisions, which acknowledges the need for individuals to recall and coordinate their past activities.
